The endocannabinoid system is a regulatory system & is linked to important organs, immune and nervous system & to important parts of the brain. The ECS plays a major role in all primary physiological functions. With tests and knowledge accumulated, scientists are increasingly discovering that the ECS is an essential part of homeostasis, the body’s capacity to maintain an internal balance.
The discovery of the endocannabinoid system (ECS)
In various studies of the human body, scientists first discover the system for the formulation and chemicals involved. In the case of the ECS, the opposite is true. Scientists first discovered and isolated the CB1 receptor, 2 years later, CB2 receptors were found.
While the CB2 receptors were discovered, American scientists discovered the endocanabinoid anandamide. Each discovery was a step further in the process of further clarifying the ECS. Further in the process, scientists discovered that the ECS turned out to be a system that controls and monitors molecular signaling throughout the body!
It took scientists a while to figure out why there were receptors and chemicals, but our knowledge of the EXS has increased dramatically in recent years!
It is currently believed that the system is even vital to the bodily capacity to balance internal functions. Early in the study, it pointed out that endocannabinoid deficiency precedes several ailments one experiences.
Synthetic cannabinoids, phytocannabinoids and endocannabinoids all affect the ECS
The basis of the ECS system works in a simple way; the system monitors the body’s internal systems. In addition, the ECS has a role in the release of endocannabinoids when it detects an imbalance where it is able to help. Subsequently, these endocannabinoids bind to receptors that are completely distributed throughout the body. This event in the body leads to the stimulation of various biological functions. The effectiveness of the ECS is influenced by many factors, but of great importance is the production or administration of the chemical components necessary to dissolve with these receptors.

In addition, the system facilitates the release of endocannabinoids if it detects an imbalance in which it is able to help. These endocannabinoids then bind to receptors located throughout the body. This leads to stimulation of various biological functions. Many factors influence the effectiveness of our ECS. But of great importance is the production or administration of the chemical components necessary to bind to these receptors.

This is not the only substance that binds to the receptors associated with the ECS. Phytocannabinoids (cannabinoids that come from a plant) have a similar molecular structure to endocannabinoids. However, these exist outside the body, the hemp plant is an example of a plant that contains many phytocannabinoids. Consuming CBD, CBD & CBG may lead to reactions at CB1 & CB2 receptors.
Finally, there are synthetic canabinoids, which are man-made compounds that mimic the molecular structure of both phytocannabinoids and endocannabinoids. The synthetic cannabinoids are specifically designed to target certain receptors & they are often overwhelming for the body, yet in some cases unwanted side effects can occur.
